Yup.Gravenhirst,that's what it is called.
I think it must have been named by a Mortition.
It is a beautiful place on the water by the lake but we got the boot from the campground cause they had no room for the long weekend
We had tried to book a fair way in advance but everybody was full.
We are not used to booking anything as we usually just fly by the seat of our pants.
Peg did find us a spot so we are not left out in the cold
(The cold u say,it was 30C and with the humidity they say 40C yesterday)
So we are off to Bracebridge, which is just up the road a few miles.
I know-Bracebridge-I think it was named either by a Dentist or they had a bridge which needed some help in standing.
Bracebridge is also a gorgeous town only it's on the river which go's to Muskoka Lake
We are settled in our new campground and I have a couple of chores to do.
My other job was to get wood for the fire.
It was $7.99 for a bundle at the grocery store so there was no way I was going to pay that much.
Instead I got ripped off by the campground for $10.00
Tara,Pat and the kids finally showed up after 8pm with their trailer.
We were supposed to have dinner with them,so we waited, but they stopped at Weber's and ate.
Go figure.
We were busy drinking with our new neighbours anyway so it really didn't matter except we were hungry.
They are not really that new, they have kids and stuff.
Tomorrow we might go for a boat ride with the Braziers but that all depends on the weather.
