Twas a beautiful day
Mike had not played for years but he still showed us all up
The course was in good shape.
After a couple we stopped by the old swinging bridge where Mike tried to scare us but it didn't work.
Then home to check on the mutts and on to the fair.
That's right,The Renfrew Fall Fair.
We toured the exhibits, walked the mid-way where at this age nobody had a desire to ride any of the rides. After that it was eat some fair food, get some popcorn and toodle on over to the grandstands for the entertainment.
Low and behold the opening act is Franky Vallee.
This guy has to at least 70 years old but let me tell you he can still sing like a bird.He sang all the old songs he is famous for and did a great job.
Next it was Night Fever,a group who imitates the Bee Gees.
These guys were awesome also. They sang all their old songs the way they were and were great.
We thoroughly enjoyed the performances and a great venue.Much better than a large concert and it was FREE!
