Sick

I've been sick with a terrible cold for the last few days.
I know you women don't understand a man size cold but the colds we get are much worse than the little ones you get.That's why we suffer so much.

Thursday we watched the duels at Daytona which was not that exciting.
Friday we watched the Truck race and it was excellent
We had plans to watch the Nationwide race Saturday night but found out it was on Saturday afternoon not night.We caught the last 32 laps and that was a great race also even though I think they should have thrown the caution on the last lap a little earlier.

After the race we went out for drinks and then dinner to celebrate Peggy's birthday.

We started at the Huanacaxtle of course.


You can tell it's Peg's birthday cause I am wearing
a collared shirt.

We are going out for dinner after but they brought her dessert anyway.

They also brought her a Tequila puff which you can see is her favorite.

We went for dinner at another restaurant which we had not tried.

Masala's

They again brought Peg a dessert.

A fine time was had by all and Peg is another year older.

                Sunday Tim and Linda had a 500 party and even had it catered by the Huanacaxtle.

 The food was excellent and far too much.Linda ordered food for 12,there were 16 of us and there was way too much food.

The only thing wrong was there was no race.

Oh well,party harty(don't ask)

After the non race we went for more at the Huanacaxtle and of course the evening ended at our place with Linda in her usual pose.

TIMMY'S

We have had Costco's Kirkland coffe since we've been here but we found a lady that some times has Timmy's.

We bought a can yesterday.

And Bob's your uncle

Another Last Day

                                                          It's Belinda and Dan's last day.

So they went golfing as usual.

Linda went to the pool for some rays.

I'm sure you can guess where Peggy went.

Tim and I went to the bar.

Later on.....

We all went to the bar.

This is Ensamble the Tapas and Wine Bar which is outside.

There is no inside to this place.

Therefore we were glad to see that it is air conditioned.

Whatever!

They sure did have fancy shmancy appetizers and they had to be eaten quickly so the air conditioning didn't cool them down.

Next we went for their last supper at Roberto's

Roberto's is located above the town where the view is incredible.

Dreams

 I wake up this morning and I'm in big trouble
Someone is really really mad at me.
Why?
Someone had a dream and I was really bad in it.
Now I'm in big shit

Oh Oh, here she comes.Got to go.

Market Day

So it's Sunday and the Market is in town.
Tim,Linda,Peggy and I decide to try Ana Bannana's for breakfast as we have not been there yet.

Breakfast was good and they even had decent catchup.Good catchup is hard to find here.

The only problem was 2 dog fights broke out while we were there.Ridiculous!
In most places in Mexico you can bring your dog on a leash into the restaurant or bar but at Ana Bannana's there were many strays wandering through the place cause people were feeding them from the tables.Of course they all want the food and will fight to get it.
No one seemed to care but us and we will not be returning for breakfast.
I tried to take pictures but the camera read "Battery is exhausted"
(I don't know why it was so tired,it has just been laying around for a couple of days)

After breakfast the girls went and purchased a couple of groceries then we headed for the market.
Actually the girls went to the market and Tim and I went to the Oyster Bar for a beer.

It was cloudy again so Peg and I went home and watched a couple of movies,before traipsing down to the Huanacaxtle to meet the 4 Troubles for happy hour.

Then it was away home for dinner and a quiet night.

Bud Shootout

Can you believe it?
the Pots leave and the weather turn beautiful again.

So we just spent the day in the sun

After dinner it was off to the troubles to watch the Bud shootout.

We have to go there cause they have Canadian Satellite TV and we only have Mexican Satellite TV

The race was one of the most exciting races I have ever seen and the results were great.

Great come back for Kyle and M & M's

Good Byes

The day after the Birthday there were a couple of sad puppies.Peg was very slow in rising but did manage to get going after a while.Jill was another story.If I got that sick from drinking I would not drink.
She did manage to get out of bed and pull herself together in time for dinner(the last supper) at Frascetti's.

This time after dinner Jill and Debby went home and we carried on to the Huanacaxtle where we met the Troubles just in time for Karaoke.

Friday was the POt's last partial day hear but the sun did not fully cooperate.He poked his nose out once in a while but he has not been kund the last few days.
It's still very warm here but this is the worst weather I have ever seen on the Pacific Coast of Mexico this time of year.
At this rate I could lose my tan before I leave the country.

The pots did manage to get a couple of rays before heading to the airport.

Next thing you know Felix was here and poof,they were gone.

We did have a great time but Mr Sun could have been more cooperative.

The Birthday

The Pots are up and gone shopping.
Again.
They took off for Bucerias shopping again while Peg and I rested.

Well we rested til we headed for town to pick up the dog food we ordered.
No dog food
It's just like chicken and fish
Maybe tomorrow?

So we go have a couple and are joined by Viper Chick and Dan the Man.

Next thing you know it's time to get ready and go to dinner.

Vallarta Gardens.

It's a gorgeous place and we settle in outside on the patio.

The Pots are here.It was also Debby's birthday about 2 weeks ago.

(I brought one collared shirt with me and this is the first time I have worn it)

Peg is also going to have a birthday in about a week and a half.

I think Jill is 64 today or maybe it is only half that much.

I'm not really sure!

A good time was had by all then most of us went home

The Pots and Peggy carried on somewhere but who knows where.

It's 9:30 in the morning and no one is up but me and Bobs your uncle.

Chicken

Everybody wanted to go to the Vallarta Gardens for dinner on Wednesday so the women walked over there to make a reservation and check the place out.
To their dismay the joint is not open on Mon,Tues or Wednesday,however since it is a birthday celebration and there are 9 of us they agreed to open up.
We shall see what happens on Wednesday.

Today we are going to try out the Take Out BBQ Chicken joint on the corner.You get your whole BBq'd chicken and the potatoes are cooked under the chicken by the drippings and I think you get a shot of coleslaw.



So it's Valentines day and there was only one person in our group that got flowers or material things for a gift.

Now I'm not saying that Tim is whipped or anything but.......

We all go to the Huanacaxtle Bar for homemade ice cream except Belinda and Dan who go to the pool,cause they are pretty white.

So Debby and John decide to walk home and cause we have the car we will pick up the chicken.

We stop at the Troubles on the way bye for a quick one.Deb,John and Jill are going to dig something up to eat but Peg and I take off for Philo's for pizza.

                           Another quiet day in the little drinking town with a fishing problem.

It Stopped Raining

It pretty much rained for two days
What a bummer.

When it stopped Viper Chick and Dan the Man went golfing.

Linda was resting and Tim was making salso

We called Felix and set out for Bucerias

Everybody except for yours truly again went shopping.

I heard the Sunset bar calling and I was obligated to obey it's wishes and go drink some 2 for one beer.

It wasn't long before Peg showed up as she is not much of a shopper either.

It was probably 1 1/2 to 2 hrs later the Pots returned.

I think Jill thought we were going to The Kentucky Derby according to the new chapeau.

Wait a minute.It must be me that is missing something.

What the hell-me too

The band was pretty dam good so there was some dancing going on.

Somewhere John found the air guitar and a good time was had by all.

The sun was setting,I think,so we called Felix and headed for a new restaurant that we have never been to before.

We didn't make it.

Having 3 of the 5 people in the cab women,we changed our minds many times on the way back

We ended up at the Oyster Bar where all the Troubles were waiting.

Oh Dear-More Fun

OH OH Viper Chick is giving me dirty looks.

Time to go.

I don't know how the troubles got home,I think by cab?

I know the 5 of us piled into a Toyota Tercel Cab.

Would have been a good picture but there was no room to take it and we probably wouldn't have remembered anyway.

When I got home my hat was missing

If anyone sees my hat tell it to come home please.
