Good Bye

We said our good-byes to everyone and bolted from town at the crack of eleven am.

That's ok cause we were only going about 150 miles south to Amado,AZ.

We also found a great place for lunch in Green Valley and of course they had beer and wine.

We are staying here 2 nights and are packing and getting ready for the trip south.

The weather here is extreme Day time-80/27

                                          Night time-34/1

Must be the altitude.

Tomorrow morning bright and early we will be gone.

Trouble

I'm in trouble again but I've been there before.
I spelt Kosh wrong again.My bad.
It has now been corrected.

So we went to the Fisher's yesterday.

There was no alcohol involved with these pictures.

We brought our last tenderloin to BBQ and everybody else did their share with other stuff.

It was a marvellous joint effort and everything thing turned out perfect

I think she is turning 59

Even she could not hold a straight face for that line.

After we all stuffed our faces we of course had to play a little poker which has become a tradition.We had a fantastic time,ate well and of course drank a few pops.

The only problem I see here is that maybe Mel is Gay.

The turkey dinner was great and of course Karen made too much but that was ok as I had turkey again on Black Friday.
Black Friday we spent cleaning up and deciding what we should take to Mexico.
No craziness in the stores for us.

Today we will be heading over to the Fishers later on for a BBQ

I hope I remember to take the xo@# camera.

My Favorite Animal  Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else  laughed. My parents told me to always tell the truth.  I did.  Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA.  He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office.  I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again. The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, so I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken.. She sent me back to the principal's office.  He laughed, and told me not to do it again.  I don't understand.  My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked us to tell her what famous person we admire most.  I told her, "Colonel Sanders." Guess where I am now...

Thanksgiving

Thursday,Thanksgiving USA,we spent with the Mackenzies and I forgot the camera.Dale took some pics and I am waiting for him to email them to me.

Golfing

Wednesday it was over 80/27 degrees and a great day for golf.

These birds were already into the sauce when we arrived at the course.

I think these two are going on tour?

I will definetly not be going on tour.I don't know how you can shoot 77 one day and the next time out shoot many many more,but I did.

I guess the important thing is I had a great time.

Oh ya,I almost forgot.

After golf we went out for some refreshments and some great Chinese food.

Peg got her nails done and a bunch of other stuff that women do.Whatever?

I think the bill was a thousand bucks or maybe it was just a hundred,I don't know.

We also got new bathing suits.I got one and I think Peg got a hundred.That's usually how it works.



We finally hooked up with the Fisher's,Koch's,Friel's and Sandford's.We went to the Organ Stop for Pizza and then it was back to the Fishers to get our asses whipped in poker by the Sandfords.

Last night we went for dinner at Oregano's with the Mackenzie's.
Busy busy busy!

Money

So it was only $200.00 at the vet.

For now

There might be cataract surgery in the future though and that will be thousands.

Yipeeeee!

The weather has been awesome so we have been buying shit and laying around the pool

I also might have had the odd beer to help keep cool.

I have to go now as I have to drive Peg to the barbers to get a new doo

Mesa,AZ

We are now enjoying Mesa,Az.

The weather is great and the top is down.

We have hooked up with Dale and Karen from back home and we managed to tip a couple and get caught up on the gossip at home.

Today we will be taking Sonny to the vet because we enjoy spending more money on him,What a pleasure it is to see the Vet smile.

Still Bragging

Today will be our last day in Casa Grande this year.

We have been hanging out with Cliff,Don and Max,Millie and Duane,Sue and Wes.
Having a great time drinking and eating our faces off.

Arizona has been having a drought but wouldn't you know it, it is now raining.I think this big black cloud is following us around.

We have taken no pictures since we have been here.Why you ask?How the hell do I know!
Maybe I should tie the camera around my neck,then I would not forget it.Or maybe we should think about the damn camera in the phone.Dah!

We have been unable to get together with our new friends from Wetaskiwin,Holly and Don,that we met in Red Bay as both us and them have been very busy beavers.We however are getting together with them today,finally.

Oh by the way I shot 77 on 11/11/11. Does that mean it was just luck or I will be lucky or it has something to do with crap(s).

Thursday we met up with some friends from the Highland days and had a great time.We met at the bar and ended up at someones house having more drinks and dinner.

Friday we went golfing.

I shot a 77 
That's right a 77 on a par 72 regulation PGA golf course.
That's my lowest score in 50 years.

I am one happy camper. Congratulations to me.

Casa Grande

So here we are in Casa Grande at Palm Creek RV Resort,probably one of the nicest resorts we have been to.

The Temp is ok but it's a little windy this morning.It was a long drive yesterday but we did make it here instead of taking one more day as planned.

I doubt if we will do much today but only time will tell.

Heading West

So we planned on leaving about 8am but left at 9:30.

Not bad for us.

We have travelled a little over 400 miles today and are about 150 miles east of Felina's home in West Texas.(some old folks might understand where we are)

Anyway we have stopped for the day at a truck stop.Nothing exciting to report.

The beers were big and the menue was on the ceiling.

Everybody is having a ball.

We stayed here quite a while,had a ton of drinks along with a great time and a lot of laughs.

Everything was done all in fun and we only saw a couple of people leave without ordering.

They do give you a mild warning at the door.

San Antonio

Here we are in San Antonio.

When in San Antonio you must do the river walk.

We are about 5 miles from there so we decide to take the bus.Just in case alcohol might be involved.

Well that was a thrill.I don't think we want to be taking a bus back after dark through this neighbourhood.

We will be catching a cab.

First think was to grab a cold one.

Next we decided to take the boat tour.(obviously Peg forgot her deodorant)

The River Walk is fantastic with all kinds of shops,hotels,bars and restaurants.right next to the Alamo.

We did the Alamo a few years back so not this time.

It was a tough decision to make but

we chose Dick's Last Resort cause we were told it was a lot of fun
